PRIVACY POLICY PROVISIONS
adopted in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.
BASIC CONCEPTS

- lv – is an electronic website located at www.ats.lv.
- Social network accounts – ats.lv accounts on Facebook, Instagram or other social networks, which provide information about the Company and its equipment rental services.
- Browser – a program designed to display web pages (websites) on the web or on a personal computer.
- Personal data – is any information relating to a natural person, i.e. i.e. a data subject whose identity is known or whose identity can be directly or indirectly identified by reference to data such as a personal identification number, one or more factors that characterize the physical, physiological, psychological, economic, cultural or social characteristics of the person.
- Privacy policy – this document, which outlines the basic rules for collecting, compiling, processing and storing personal data using ats.lv.
- IP address – a unique number assigned to each computer connected to the Internet, the so-called Internet Protocol (IP) address, which can be used to identify a person.
GENERAL RULES
- The privacy policy stipulates the basic rules for collecting, storing and processing personal data when the User uses the ats.lv website. The rules have been developed taking into account the fact that the ats.lv website does not have an e-store and it is not possible to create an account. It is possible to use ats.lv only by providing personal data when submitting a request for equipment rental for work at height.
- The privacy policy is designed to protect and protect the personal data of ats.lv Users from unauthorized use.
- The purpose of the privacy policy rules is to regulate the processing of personal data on the Company’s website ats.lv, ensuring compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, Latvian Observance and implementation of the provisions of the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic, as well as other related legal acts.
- The Company’s website ats.lv may contain links to and from the websites of the Company’s partners, advertisers and related persons. Please note that third-party websites to which Users are directed when selecting links on the ats.lv website have their own privacy policies, and the Company does not assume any responsibility for these privacy policies. Users are advised to familiarize themselves with the privacy policies of these other websites before submitting their Personal Data to them.
PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION, STORAGE AND USE PROCEDURES.
- On the ats.lv website, the company provides the possibility for the User to submit a request for equipment rental for work at height, specifying personal data: (i) Name; (ii) Email; (iii) Subject matter; (iv) Question. If the User does not agree to provide this data, he has the right not to provide data and not to fill out the request form.
- The above data is stored for 6 (six) months from the date of the User’s request.
- The Company undertakes not to disclose the User’s personal data to third parties, except in the following cases:
- If there is the User’s consent to the disclosure of Personal Data;
- Company partners who provide services related to the proper execution of the Services ordered by the User;
- The Company may also transfer the User’s Personal Data to third parties acting as data processors on behalf of the Company. Personal data can be provided only to those Data Processors with whom the Company has concluded relevant agreements or cooperation agreements, with which the agreements contain provisions relating to the transfer/delivery of personal data, and the Data Processor ensures adequate protection of the transferred personal data;
- In all other cases, the User’s personal data may be disclosed to third parties only in accordance with the procedures established by the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.
- The Company may transfer the Personal Data of the Data Subject to state or law enforcement authorities upon their request. Although the Company makes every effort to protect Personal Data, the Company cannot guarantee the secure transmission of data to the Website. Any data transfer procedures are performed at the User’s risk. From the moment of receiving the data, the Company applies particularly strict procedures for the protection of the User’s Personal Data, as well as technical and organizational measures to ensure protection against unauthorized access to Personal Data.
- The Company uses the User’s Personal Data to:
- ensure that the content of the ats.lv website is presented to Users in the most effective and appropriate way;
- Provide Users with information, Services that Users request or that may be of interest to Users, if Users have given their consent to be informed for this purpose;
- The Company’s website may collect certain information about the User’s visit, such as: (i) the Internet Protocol (IP) address through which the User accesses the Internet; (ii) date and time when the User has visited the Company’s website; (iii) other websites that the User visits while on the Company’s website; (iv) the browser used; (v) information about the User’s computer operating system; (vi) mobile app versions; and (vii) language preferences. If the User uses a mobile device, data may also be collected to identify the type of mobile device, device settings, as well as geographic coordinates (geographic longitude and latitude). This information is used to improve the Company’s website, analyze trends, improve products and services, and administer the Company’s website. The User voluntarily provides this data by using the services provided by the Company, becoming a registered user of the Company’s website or visiting the Company’s website.
CONSUMER RIGHTS
- The user has the following basic rights on the ats.lv website:
- find out about the processing of your personal data;
- know about your personal data and its processing;
- Request correction or destruction of the User’s personal data held by the Company.
- opposes the processing of the User’s personal data.
- By submitting a written request (attaching a personal identification document), the User has the right to access the User’s personal data, which is processed on the ats.lv website, and to obtain information about the sources and purposes for which the User’s Personal Data is collected, for which purposes processed and to whom they are provided. Upon receiving the User’s request, the Company provides the requested data or indicates the reasons for refusing such a request in the same form in which the User requested them, or the User has agreed to receive information about the data in another way offered by the Company, no later than within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of the User’s request .
- The user can submit a request to access, correct or cancel the personal data collected by the Company about him by sending an e-mail to info@ats.lv or by registered letter to the Company’s legal address Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve 1, Rīga, LV-1004, Latvia
- Complaints of individuals regarding incorrect or illegal processing of personal data are examined by the State Data Protection Inspectorate, legal address: Elijas iela 17, Rīga, LV-1050, www.dvi.gov.lv
FINAL PROVISIONS
- The privacy policy is available and printable at any time on the ats.lv website. Users will always be informed of any further changes and/or additions to the Privacy Policy when the new version of the Privacy Policy is published on the ats.lv website.
- The Company is not responsible for communication failures that prevent Users of the Company’s website and other persons from accessing the website or using the services.
- The Company cannot guarantee that the operation of the Company’s website will be continuous and free from any interruptions and errors, that the Company’s website will be completely protected from viruses or other harmful components. The User is hereby informed that any material that the User reads, downloads or otherwise obtains through the Company’s website is obtained at the User’s discretion and at the User’s risk, and the User is fully responsible for any damage caused to the User and the User’s computer system.
